Summary0001475: 6.6 ModelParent description & example are confusing
Description

The description for "ModelParent" is very confusing and requires SEVERAL passes to try to understand. It would be nice if the "ModelParent" was defined first and described second. The text talks of "Scope" but doesn't describe what that means, scope like in programming terms or scope as in a definition?

The 2nd paragraph provides an example which is a little complicated. The 5th paragraph provides yet another example. What would be easier is if the diagram (Figure 22) matched the description in paragraph 2.

The text need to start with an explaination of the problem and then the solution, i.e. the ModelParent communicates that a Node is shared and making changes could have side effects.
