Description

CMPWG 3/29/2012:

The term "serverUri" is used in FindServers and GetEndpoints, but no such parameter can be found in any of the response parameters. Was this parameter name changed from something else?

We're assuming that the parameter name should be "applicationUri" instead.

Interestingly, the RegisterServer service contains a parameter for "serverUri", but none of the responses (FindServers or GetEndpoints) returns a parameter of this name. So there doesn't appear to be a mapping of serverUris to ...?

Seeking a consistent parameter name that can be tracked between each of the different services.

Note: descriptive text should be reviewed also, notably 5.4.2.1 paragraph 4 (starts with "Every Server shall have a globally....)"

Need to explain that the serverUri is the same as the applicationUri (i.e. a specialization of applicationUri that applies to Servers only).

Best description of this in in Table 11. This needs to be reiterated in other areas.

Added clarification to Table 103 – ApplicationDescription -> applicationUri
"This URI is used as ServerUri in Services if the application is a Server."

Added clarification to 5.4.2 FindServers -> Description
"The ServerUri is returned as applicationUri field in the ApplicationDescription (see 7.1)"

Added clarification to 5.4.2 Table 3 – FindServers Service Parameters -> serverUris
And Table 5 – RegisterServer Service Parameters -> serverUri
"A serverUri matches the applicationUri from the ApplicationDescription defined in 7.1."
