Summary | 0002127: User Token X509 Certificate Facet Added to Micro Embedded Device Server Profile
Description | The profile reporting application reports that the user token - x509 certificate facet is being added to the Micro Embedded Device Server Facet. This would break compliance for products currently supporting this profile and add a requirement for PKI infrastructure that is not required or desirable at the device level by the majority of OEMs.

Agreed in call to make it optional in this profile |
|
Removed it from this profile and added it to the next level. It was an optional ConformanceUnit in this Profile, but the ConformanceUnit became a Facet and a Facet can not be optional (it does not make sense, since a Facet can be exposed on its own). The next level (Embedded) requires Security and requires this Facet be supported. |

Reviewed 1.02.09 and agreed to changes in telecon. |
