Within the information model of the existing version of the Companion Specification, the hierarchy levels of the ISA95 are "coded" inside the ISA95EquipmentElementLevelEnum data type. A easier solution would be to have an explicit relation to the hierarchy levels (in form of elements referenced) as this part of the ISA95 is extremely important within the context of Industrie 4.0 (RAMI 4.0). Furthermore, the AutomationML companion specification also deals with these hierarchy levels and the explicit modelling of these levels as elements (not an enum) would simplify the alignment of AML and ISA95 companion specification.
