Summary | 0007210: Modelling the instance using the type definition
Description | In the xml nodeset file 1.4.6 and later, for Data item's subtypes like for example Analog item, there is a mandatory EURange property. for its parent BaseAnalogItem, there is another EURange property which is optional. When we try to model the AnalogItemType, it will inherit the properties of the parent as well. So, in this case, if the user wants to make sure that even optional properties need to be added, then there will be 2 EURange property nodes. This will be confusing. I looked into 1.05 spec, but it is not clear to me on what we have to do, if user wants to create EURange property from parent as well. I identified the similar stuffs for other data items as well. Could you please let us know how to proceed here?
