does each module need to be described with exactly one descriptor or one file, or could it be multiple (especially when configuration comes in place)?

If you have more than one file for a module it is better to put this together in a embedded Descriptor.
We will adapted the phrasing to allow more than one AML file. Further details will be added in the C2D version.
