In context of the asset management basics the question occurred whether the change of the alias name triggers a change of the NodeVersion and a ModelChangeEvent (see 0008128)
Changing the AliasName requires at least changing the BrowseName, which, as defined in Part 3 do not trigger a NodeVersion change. ("The NodeVersion Property is updated each time a Reference is added or deleted to the Node the Property belongs to. Attribute value changes do not cause the NodeVersion to change.").

However, a change of the Alias Name could be considered as deleting the old Alias Name Node and creating a new one (potentially with the same NodeId). It would be desirable to state this behavior already in the Alias Names specification.
