Description

WriteMask

  • [Mi] Change this statement -> make it more clear. E.g. „If not present in the AML SUC, the Attribute may or not may be in the Server” or “If present in the AML SUC that it should be part of the Server”.
    Also add: Extend note and describe what is the default value in case a part of the write mask is not present (missing boolean attribute or value) in the AML file.

The Notes for WriteMask in Part 83 Table A.4 were updated to resolve this Mantis Issue. The following wording was added to the note:
"If the WriteMask is present in the AML, it is also present in the OPC UA. If Sub-attributes of the WriteMask Attribute are part of the AML, their values have to match the corresponding bits in OPC UA.. If a sub-attribute of the WriteMask is not present in the AML, then the value of the field is unknown."
The former note text was deleted.
The same update was made to AccessRestrictions, but replacing WriteMask with AccessRestrictions.
With agreement from Manuel Jacob this issue can be considered resolved.
