| Summary | 0010476: OPAF questions about the use of StatusCodes | ||||
| Description | OPAF are asking questions about the proper use of BadOutOfRange. I also suggested the use of BadOutOfRange isn't intended as variable status code. It is intended to be used as a response code for a request which contains an argument which is out of the expected range. OPAF have request an official statement regarding the expected usage of these codes. | ||||

Agree to add the proposed uncertain codes, but should be validated by PADIM and UAFX. |
UAFX instrument agrees to the additional codes, will also check with UAFX I/O group. |
Keep in mind that all of the original status codes and sub-codes came from FF, so the question is how does FF indicate an instrument is out of range using the codes already defined by FF? |
