Summary0003656: Support of UADP messages through UA TCP
Description

Options for TCP:
(a) Extend UASC messages with a PUB message type
(b) Use a secure channel and define a new one way service type PubSubPublish

If we want to support both options, we need two URL schema.
opc.tcp should only be used with a secure channel.

Additional Information

Definition removed from PubSub draft - 6.6.1 UADP / 6.6.1.1 Address
Table UADP Address URL Options

Schema:
opc.tcp
Description:
The UADP NetworkMessages are sent through a UA Secure Channel using the OPC UA TCP and UA Secure Conversation headers.
The host is either an IP address or a registered name like a hostname. IP addresses can only be unicast addresses.
The default port is 4840. An optional port number can be specified if another port is used.
