| Summary | 0003836: GDS Needs to Publish URLs for Clients that support reverse connections. | ||||
| Description | The ability of a client to open a port and listen for servers means there is a need to publish those URLs. However, these are not normal DiscoveryUrls since they do not support GetEndpoints. They can only be used for reverse connections. | ||||

Needs discussion. |
Proposal: create a new URL scheme that represents reverse connect (e.g. opc.tcp+rvc). Document that reverse connect URLs do not support GetEndpoints. And allow Clients to publish DiscoveryUrls as part of their ApplicationDescription. |
