Summary0009117: Facets are needed to describe time sync options
Description

UAFX Stations can be PTP Grandmaster-capable, PTP Relay instances, or PTP end instances. Facets are needed to document the level of support that the UAFX station provides.
Note that issue 6632 states, "Selection tool shall only report capabilities and constraints validated by conformance test". Therefore if time sync is not tested by conformance, this would not be required.

This information is mainly needed for product selection. The requirements on product selection can be found in the related Mantis issues.

The NWG has discussed this issue and everyone agrees that if we need this information that is belongs in Part 22 first. Then we can require it in our information model and descriptor.
This issue should be targeted for C2D since the product selection tool does not yet exist.
