There was never a formal collaboration with the security video streaming organization.
I am not sure if there is a need for this feature in general.

A FileType like handling depends on the handling of the stream itself (in-band transfer as Data MonitoredItem or PubSub DataSetMessage vs. using dedicated streaming protocol).

For in-band transfer as Data MonitoredItem or PubSub DataSetMessage, it makes sense to model the stream as Variable that is read-only (where read makes no sense, only a subscription makes sense).

If a dedicated streaming protocol is used, the FileType like object would be needed to establish and configure the stream.

I both cases an ObjectType would be needed to provide features for stream configuration.
