Summary | 0001849: 6.5.1 Kerberos: what about NON-Windows implementations?
Description | The CMPWG reviewed the new text (6.5.1 Kerberos) in UA Part 6 1.02 Draft 5.doc. The last paragraph describes the issuerEndpointUri parameter is it relates to Windows, but does not make any effort to describe non-Windows implementations. We (CMPWG) currently have test-cases that we're authoring for Kerberos testing and we're seeking direction on how to populate the UserTokenPolicy for Windows and Non-Windows implementations.

The spec already uses term realm which is the generic Kerberos term for a Windows domain. It is not clear what else is required. |
What would the issuerEndpointUri look like for a non-Windows implementation? e.g: \\<spn> |
Added text to state that it is the "OPC UA Server" principle name. |
Edited the doc in the telecon and agreed to the change. |
