Summary0002363: Attribute Write service and multiple values
Description

The Write service does not discuss what the expected behaviour would be if the same node/item is in the write list more than once. The service should add a discussion that describes what happens if more than one value is provided. This discussion should include use cases where source timestamps are provided and use cases where they are not provided.
I would recommend that it is allowed and that the write also stipulates that the array of write items is processed in the order that it is provided. If two values are provided than the order will matter.

Added the following clarification to the Write service:
The order the operations are processed in the Server is not defined and depends on the different data sources and the internal Server logic. If an Attribute and Node combination is contained in more than one operation, the order of the processing is undefined.

Resolved in document IEC 62541-4 - Services [Pre-CDV] 1.02.03.doc
