| Description | We have definitions in the OPC UA for BACnet information model like BACnetYear (UInt16), BACnetDaysOfWeek (Enumeration Monday - Sunday), BACnetWeekNDay (Structure of BACnetYear and BACnetDay). Since we have now similar requirements from the AutomationML working group, it would make sense to have such definitions in OPC UA base specifications. | ||||

I have these requirements now also from another companion working group for injection molding machine (Euromap-77). They need an enumerator for wee days. |

Part 24 does define those DataTypes. However, for a bidirectional mapping this does not work for the mentioned XML data types as they have additional information (see for example here: http://books.xmlschemata.org/relaxng/ch19-77127.html where time zone information might be provided as well). There is another document specifically for XML bidirectional mappings. |
