Summary0003011: Information on Certificate expiration
Description

It would be desirable for a server to inform the user when its certificates are expiring soon (or the certificates of some of its sources).
Therefore the proposal is to define an alarm when such a certificate is expiring soon. The time span and the severity should probably be server-specific but at least the alarm type and the fields should be standardized.

How useful is this?

  • It will be optional.
  • Clients can not inform the user.
  • Systems with a GDS should be ok.
