The question came up again if the 1:n channel/session relation is mandatory or not. My understanding was always that this was optional, and older SDK versions did not support that for a long time, but now they do.

For small embedded servers I would like to limit this to 1:1. The profiles define a lot of minimums for sessions, subscriptions, subscriptions_per_session, etc.
But I cannot find a settings for how many sessions for one channel must be supported. Also in the spec I cannot find anything which requires this.

But the current version of the CTT has a test case which fails when the server does not support this.

We need more info about what CTT test is failing and what proposed change is desired to Profiles.

This behaviour is not required. The CTT shall be checked to see if it behaves correct.

In the meantime this relation has been discussed in the UA WG and resolved. The scripts have been updated with mantis 7495 and the updates are included starting with the script version 1.03.505
