Description

OPC UA CTT Version 1.3.340.358

In previous versions of CTT (1.3.340.288), the first time I opened a project from an earlier version of CTT, CTT upgraded the project to the latest version of test scripts. This did not happen with CTT 1.3.340. or 1.3.340.346 or 1.3.340.358.

Is this an intentional change of functionality or is it a defect?

Steps To Reproduce
  • Create a project with an earlier version of CTT (1.3.340.288).
  • Open project from earlier version of CTT with 1.3.340.358.
  • Observe that test scripts are not updated to latest CTT.

Initial guess is that once a project is asked if the answer is "No" it will never be asked again. The project should always ask.

The problem was in uaprofiles.xml which includes the CTT and the script versions which weren't increased. For all future builds we are going to keep increasing the numbers to match the actual versions.
