| Description | According to current PubSub specification, Publisher can provide DataSetMetaData via PubSub NetworkMessage (requested by Subscriber via PubSub). This implies that Publisher also has to be a Subscriber, which in turn leads to additional code on the Publisher's side. Suggested change to specification: explicitly allow to leave out request of DataSetMetaData via PubSub NetworkMessage. Publisher can regularly publishes DataSetMetaData and Subscriber initially has to wait for it. | ||||

The profiles describe the option that a Publisher sends Discovery Response messages cyclically instead of on request. To configure and/or indicate how the Publisher works, we need a CyclicDiscoveryResponseInterval parameter that is set to 0 if the Publisher sends only on request. Need to discuss at which level this is configured (global, connection, writer) |
