Description

It is nowhere stated (or I did not find), how a server shall treat conditions / alarms reported by nodes, which have no (user)RolePermission to be browsed.

In general nodes without Browse permission shall be hidden from clients, but conditions / alarms may be reported via event propagation on visible nodes (e.g. server node).

Shall a server filter conditions / alarms from hidden nodes?

Need to discuss at F2F the general case of Events emanating from nodes that are not accessible via security restrictions on the client. This extends to the more general case, not just in relation to Roles.

The PermissionType DataType defines ReceiveEvents which described the expected behavior as follows:
"A Client only receives an Event if this bit is set on the Node identified by the EventTypeId field and on the Node identified by the SourceNode field.
This Permission is only valid for EventType Nodes or SourceNodes.
"
