Summary0004904: Conflict when using Extensions and Aggregates
Description

The current MDIS Companion Specification (1.2) states in the definition of the MDISAggregateObjectType (section 5.8.2):

"<InstrumentPlaceholder> denotes that a subtype of this ObjectType may define any number of Objects of this type as part of a subtype. Each object instance shall have a unique BrowseName and must be of MDISInstrumentObjectType."

Strictly speaking this requirement seems to disallow vendor specific subtypes from being usage as part of an Aggregate.
I don’t think that this was the original intention as it would make the whole Extension concept pretty useless.
