Summary0004956: Unclear association of events to packaging run
Description

The OPENSCSSNEventMethodType, OPENSCSLabelEventMethodType and OPENSCSAggregationMethodType define a context but leave out, what this context actually is. As such, implementers have define names themselves.
A set of basic key elements should be provided which can be used to minimize configuration overhead

On initial discussion, the specialization of this information might be the target for a new release. For the time being (and for the IOP), we could settle for leaving the context[] open and provide a coupl of examples in the test cases, as in:

  • batch number, order number, packaging level, etc.

All of the uses of the "context" include the "Pool Selection Criteria" as a parameter. The pool selection criteria already contain the lot number and order number as predefined selection criteria (Table 12 in the PSS).

The context was for other project specific information that had to be agreed to by the sender and receiver, and should not duplicate information that could already be contained in another parameter.

We need to discuss further.

The context is just a dump Key/Value datatype and has no reference to the 'Pool Selection Criteria' whatsoever. While the 'keys' defined in the Pool Selection Criteria could be used, it is unclear that this is the case. As such, this reference should, somehow, been stated.

We need to discuss, but I agree with the principle
