Description

In a lot of groups a "asset information" like the manufacturing date is discussed.
All of this groups want to use DI as the basic specification and so "DI-Definition and Usage" of a manufacturing date would be helpful for standardization.

In my view for a ManufacturingDate the DataType DateTime is to detailled , DateString? Or different DataTypes to provide only calender-week + year, month + year, ?quartal + year?
