Summary | 0005638: JSON Serialization for Nodeset
Description | We have a requirement from an industry organization to allow for import/export of models via a JSON serialized nodeset as opposed to XML to comply with their general specification that uses that encoding. Using intermediate translation (JSON<->XML) would not be desirable as it forced them to redefine their validation process. Ideally, a generalized model for the general classes (Node, Datatype, Variable, etc.) with all the required attributes would be defined to be then serialized using the supported encodings (1.04).

Randy moved this proposed solution to a separate doc since it won't be included in Part 6 1.05.0. |
|
Will not be part of 1.05.03 because of higher priority items. |
