Description

The SecureChannel Service Set, illustrated in Part 4 Figure 2, defines Services that allow a Client to establish a communication channel to ensure the Confidentiality and Integrity of Messages exchanged with the Server.

This is inconsistent with the objectives stated in Part 2 that include application authentication.

Part 2 should clarify that application authentication may happen at the secure channel or session level depending of the transport mapping.
