"to ensure the Confidentiality and Integrity" is used in multiple places across Part 4 do refer the security objectives addressed with the secure channel. "authenticate and encrypt" is used only in two places to describe the mechanism, not the objective. Nevertheless "authenticate and encrypt" should be "sign and encrypt". In addition I added the objective into the first sentence where "sign and encrypt" is used. This channel maintains a set of keys known only to the Client and Server, which are used to authenticate sign and encrypt Messages sent across the network to ensure Confidentiality and Integrity.
