The severity of an alarm is indicated by the value of the severity property in the BaseEventType. An instance of an alarm can be configured with a fixed value for this severity. In an advanced alarming system, this severity might be updated. For a Limit alarm, which has multiple states, each of which might have there own severity, there is only one bucket. This does not allow a value to be set, showing the default severity for each limit. Propose adding BaseSeverityHighHigh, BaseSeverityHigh, BaseSeverityLow, BaseSeverityLowLow Optional Properties to allow setting the default for each limit.
