Summary0007743: Hierarchical Network Interfaces and Mapping Tables
Description

The specifcation allows Network Interfaces (IETF Base Interfaces) to have a hierarchical structure in order to model virtual and real interfaces.
Additionally, the specification allows Priority Mapping Tables to be attached to each of these Interfaces.
However, the specification does not describe how mapping tables are inherited. What does happen if Mapping Tables are attached to only higher or lower or to both of them? The specification should provide details for these scenarios.
