Summary0008415: ReserveIds needs better description of error handling.
Description

It's not described what happens if it's impossible to reserve the requested amount of ids:

  • Error code is missing e.g. Bad_LimitsExceeded or Bad_ResourceUnavailable
  • What to set for output parameters in case of errors.

How to handle partial success, e.g. some amount of IDs could be reserved but not as many as requested.

Added ReserveIds method result

Description:
The requested number of Ids cannot be reserved.
The maximum number of WriterGroups and DataSetWriters are exposed in the PubSubCapabilities Object.

In the case of a Method results, no output arguments are provided.
