Summary | 0008526: The spec requires the RCP (reverse connect) be specified even when the client does not support reverse connect.
Description | The ApplicationRecordDataType description contains following text: "If the ApplicationType is Client the serverCapabilities shall include RCP (reverse connect) and all DiscoveryUrls shall begin with the rcp+ prefix which indicates that reverse connections are supported." My reading of this is that when the application type is Client, the RCP should be included even if the client does not support reverse connect. That seems wrong. Note: When the ApplicationRecordDataType is returned from QueryApplications, the statement in the above description is true, because QueryApplications only returns clients with the RCP capability. However, the ApplicationRecordDataType is used at other places too (FindApplications, RegisterApplication, UpdateApplication, GetApplication).
