Description

FLC SC voted for an optional certification program to ensure that engineering tools are compliant with UAFX Part 83. Currently are no Conformance Units and Profiles defined for Engineering Tools supporting UAFX Part 83.

Before Part 83 was pulled from the UAFX v1.00.00 release, Part 84 included CUs and Profiles defining Descriptors, Security Policies for Descriptors, Engineering Tool Import and Engineering Tool Export. These CUs and Profiles are loaded into the Profile Tool as Draft.

The OfflineEngineering CUs and Profiles have been added back into the v1.01.00 Draft of Part 84, which is in the AWG Draft Specification folder in SharePoint. There has been work done to Part 83 since these CUs and Profiles were created and reviewed by the Architecture WG, so they should be revisited once Part 83 is ready for Release Candidate review.
