| Summary | 0008568: A and C Suppression doesn't indicate NotSupported | ||||
| Description | While in other Conformance Units like e.g. A and C Discrete and OffNormal the test result is "Not Implemented" when the CTT doesn't find the necessary fields in any alarm, the suppression indicates a skip (see Screenshot) preferably this is indicated similar. | ||||

this is mixing two concepts - Discrete and OffNormal are alarm types (information model types) . They are different concept then Suppression. Suppression is not an alarm type but a function that is part of the base AlarmType - so it should not be handled the same as additional AlarmTypes. An information model can be not supported (they should have there own ConformanceUnits). Suppression should be handle like Shelving and Off Normal they are all the same. |
