Preconfigured PublishedDataSets can be at the AutomationComponent level (in the PublisherCapabiltiesType). In this case, variables in the PublishedDataSet could be from different FunctionalEntities, or could even be from elsewhere in the server.

Part 81 needs additional information and/or examples to make clear, in particular for developers of engineering software, what are the implications for configuration of connections that would use AC-level DataSets. In particular:

• if the PublishedDataSet has variables from multiple FEs, it would be expected that the EstablishConnections method would have ConnectionEndpoints in each of the FEs, with each referring to the same DataSet (not entirely clear from the spec).

• If the PublishedDataSet has variables that are from elsewhere in the server, and not in any FE, it is not clear where the ConnectionEndpoints would go (and this may need further discussion)
