Summary0009303: Attribute Client Read Base / 014: Clients don't need to (be able to) read all attributes
Description

Some clients don't provide an option to specify the attribute to be read but uses a default selection of attributes that are required for the purpose of the client.
If the client is only used/designed to collect data from an OPC UA server, this may include information about the value (like ValueRank, ArrayDimensions, ...) but knowledge about other attributes (for example WriteMask) is not necessary or even valuable.

So the test case should be updated in a way that the client can limit the supported attributes:
"If the client allows to specify the attribute, then ..."

Or the expected result should be updated:
"Verify the client does read all specified/supported attributes ..."

Additional Information

Test Case 014:
Read the value of every attribute for any given node.
Note: Ideally the Read will be a single call containing all requests. If not possible, then several Read calls would be acceptable.

Expected Results:
Verify the Client does read ALL attributes of the selected node. Verify the values displayed/logged by the Client match what the Server sent.

A new version of the test case has been created. The wording has been updated indicating that there is no requirement for a client to read all attributes.
